Chairman of the Board

Jeffrey Cooper

Jeff Cooper is a life sciences senior executive currently serving as a Vice President at Designs For Vision. He contributed to the development of the Reveal System, a world-renowned device for fluorescence-guided cancer surgery. At his former company, NX Development Corp., Jeff served as Chief Operating Officer and was instrumental in bringing the drug Gleolan to the United States from Europe. Jeff continues to travel internationally to lecture and train surgeons on the Reveal System.

As CEO of Energy Products Corp., Jeff introduced an energy-saving device for heating systems known as the Microtherm. The Department of Energy recognized Microtherm for the electricity and fuel savings experienced by the U.S. Postal Service.

During his career, Jeff has served in senior management or consulting roles for a number of high-tech companies, including iRobot, eUniverse (later MySpace), Northern Light Technologies, Dataupia, SilverRail Technologies, Spinnaker Software, Palms Technology, divine inc., Cymfony, mValent, KnowledgeVision, and JETIII Technologies.

Jeff continues to serve on a number of boards and advisory committees.

Chief Executive Officer

Adam Zarfoss

Adam Zarfoss joins with more than 30 years of executive experience leading a broad range of projects across the entire acquisition lifecycle, from concept development through sustainment.

Adam recently served as Vice President at BAE Systems. As a general manager, his responsibilities included multiple aspects of combat-vehicle development. He led a business division of more than 3,500 employees across nine sites in the U.S., with annual sales in excess of $2.5 billion. He also serves as Principal at Silver Point Consulting Group, providing strategic direction and operational support to companies focused on program development and performance.

Adam holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and a master's degree in Business Administration. He enjoys fishing and the outdoors, and spends much of his vacation time exploring waterways along the East Coast of the United States.

Roger Bogsted

Roger Bogsted has more than 25 years of experience as an executive leading organizations and operations in both the public and private sectors. He has extensive experience in media relations, field operations, and project management.

Roger graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Sociology. He later completed the graduate program in Forensic Science at George Washington University while working full time on Capitol Hill for Representative Norman F. Lent, Dean of the Long Island Congressional Caucus.

He received national recognition as commissioner of the highest-rated Consumer Affairs Department in the country. During his tenure as Nassau County Commissioner of Consumer Affairs, Roger was interviewed by every major television network in the New York metropolitan area and was featured on national news programs including Dateline, Primetime, and Good Morning America.

He continues to serve as Vice President of Freedom Torch Consulting, Inc. as a majority shareholder, a position he has held for more than 30 years. Roger has also spent 25 years as an owner and breeder of New York Thoroughbreds. He is a member of the New York Thoroughbred Breeders, Inc. and the New York Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association, Inc. Roger Bogsted was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2009.

Board Member

Patrick McAleenan

Patrick McAleenan has more than 15 years of project management and sales experience in the construction industry. He has excelled in developing product specifications for the United States military and U.S. government, with extensive experience managing financing, material purchasing, permitting, and inspection for major construction projects.

Patrick is a former Navy SEAL and a retired police SWAT officer. He served as a recognized expert and on-site representative for the U.S. Department of State Anti-Terrorism Assistance Program, where he taught anti-terrorism techniques both inside and outside the continental United States.

Patrick is also a small-arms specialist who enjoys instructing others in the safe and effective use of marksmanship techniques.

Outside of work, he is known for a distinctive woodworking style and specializes in designing and building custom furniture.

Gregory W. Slayton

The Honorable Gregory W. Slayton has been the successful CEO of four different Silicon Valley companies and has served on the Board of Advisors of Google and salesforce.com. He has been recognized for his high-tech leadership on the cover of Time magazine.

Gregory is a graduate of both Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School. He also earned a master's degree in Asian Studies as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar from the University of the Philippines. Gregory served as U.S. Ambassador to Bermuda under President Bush and President Obama.

He is currently the Managing Director of Slayton Capital, a position he has held for the past 20 years.

Gregory has authored several books. His latest bestseller is Portraits of Ukraine: A Nation at War. He is also Chairman of the Fellowship of Fathers Foundation in the USA and Family First Global, Christian charities that have served millions of families over the past 13 years in 12 nations around the world.

Director of Engineering

Roger Fenton, P.E.

Roger Fenton comes to with more than 40 years of electrical expertise spanning commercial, industrial, residential, generation, utility, and maritime applications. He has worked at voltages ranging from 120V to 550kV. Roger is a licensed professional electrical engineer with extensive project experience in power factor engineering.

Throughout his career, Roger has served as an electrician, technician, substation test manager, substation apparatus engineer, substation and standards engineer, and project manager. He holds three transformer patents, with several additional innovations in development, and earned degrees in Electrical Engineering (Power) and Industrial Technology.

Roger also has a passion for automobile racing. He is known for building fast race cars from scratch, is a member of the Vintage Auto Racing Association, and can often be found racing one of his creations on California speedways.
